Hi! My name is Marina, and I’m a counseling psychologist with a medical background and several years of retraining and continuing professional development in psychology.

My primary approach is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). It is part of the cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) family of approaches. It helps people cope with difficult experiences, stay connected with themselves and the present moment, and create a life aligned with what truly matters to them.

I offer a calm, warm presence and relate to different kinds of human experience with respect, thoughtfulness and acceptance. I listen carefully, help you notice what matters, and gently guide you in that direction. I value your time, as well as clear and open communication. I also make sure to rest and take care of my relationships and hobbies so I can stay resourced and grounded in both life and work.

I work a lot with neurodivergent and queer people, as well as with anxiety, OCD, and eating disorders. If you’re not sure what your concern is but feel that something isn’t right and you need support, you’re very welcome to reach out. We can figure it out together.

I do NOT work with clients under 18, with addictions, suicidal intent, or psychotic conditions.

I review my fees every September.
